Washington Woman Sues BC Bus Company
A Lynnwood woman who survived a deadly bus crash near Pendleton, Oregon last month is suing the Canadian bus company, the bus driver and the driver's wife.
The victim remains in a Seattle hospital with injuries described in the lawsuit as "severe and permanent."
The suit alleges Mi-joo Tour and Travel allowed the bus driver to work too many hours consecutively leading up to the crash.
But a lawyer for the company says the driver had plenty of sleep, and it was ice on the road that was a major factor.
Several other lawsuits have already been filed.
The bus crash killed nine people, and injured 38.
