A Donation Inside a Donation
The staff of a Goodwill store in Seattle thought they had something special when they found a beaded vest inside a donated trunk.
An appraiser agreed. As it turns out, the vest is an early 20th Century Native American artifact worth about $5, 000.
Goodwill couldn't bear to sell it so decided to make its own donation.
Now, curators from the Burke Museum are analyzing the vest and planning to display it in the near future.
