Thousands pack Pasco streets for 4th of July parade
Thousands of people lined the streets of Pasco this morning for the city's annual 4th of July parade.
Musicians, Boy Scouts, firefighters and community leaders walked and drove down the streets waving to residents.
Many people even threw out candy to the children watching the parade.
Several spectators say watching today's parade is an annual tradition they never miss.
"I've done this for many, many years at my grandparents' right over here and now we have little ones that we're bringing over the times, so we're here to carry on the tradition" said Sara Moffatt, Richland resident.
"It's the birthday of our country and I love it. I love the parade and we have the best seats in the house" said Diana Gonzalez, Pasco resident.
The city's 4th of July celebration concludes with a fireworks show at Gesa Stadium tonight at 10 PM.
