US Bank Robbery Suspect

Pendleton Police say they are searching for a female bank robber after the U.S. Bank at 105 SW Court Avenue was robbed this morning.

The suspect is described as a 5’4” to 5’8” Native American female weighing between 135-180 pounds, and possibly in her twenties.

Police say the suspect (shown in the photo) made no attempt to conceal her identity.

Chief Stuart Roberts says the suspect entered the bank at about 10:15 a.m., approached the teller closest to the door and presented a note.

The suspect allegedly never spoke, displayed a weapon or claimed to possess a weapon, but the note demanded money with the threat of something similar to, “…or we will kill you.”

Witnesses state the suspect was last seen on foot exiting the north side of the Umatilla River near the Main Street bridge.

No one reported seeing the suspect with anyone else or entering a vehicle.

Anyone with information about the robbery or the suspect is asked to contact the Pendleton Police Department at 541-276-4411 or the 24-hour dispatch Center at 541-966-3651.
