Kennewick PD Swears in Three New Officers

Kennewick Police Chief Ken Hohenberg will swear in three new police officers in the KPD Training Room tomorrow morning.

Twenty-one-year-old Cindy Blackmore graduated from Nevada State College with a degree in Psychology and lives in Richland.

Ryan Fisher is 27 years old and graduated from Pasco High School. He was a SERE Specialist Survival, Evasion, Resist and Escape. He trained aircrews in basic survival techniques, including evasion tactics, obtaining food, constructing shelters) in the Air Force.

Twenty-six-year-old Cory McGee graduated from Southridge High School. He was a Marine and completed two tours in Iraq. He is currently a Spokane resident but plans to move to the TriCities soon.

All three new police officers will be attending the Basic Law Enforcement Academy in Burien shortly.

Family, friends and the public are invited to the "swearing in" ceremony tomorrow at 10 a.m.
