Third Annual Lemonade Stand for Arthritis
We followed up with the 12-year-old Walla Walla girl who held her Third Annual Lemonade Stand today for the Arthritis Foundation.
Allison Wanichek and her family beat their record this year by raising more than $5,500 selling lemonade, baked goods and receiving donations.
After selling 45 gallons of lemonade, they sold out out of everything.
The Walla Walla Fire Department showed up, as well as a number of our viewers after watching yesterday's show, so we appreciate the support in helping this young woman accomplish her goal.
Allison was diagnosed with Juvenile Arthritis at 10-years-old and she says she'll stop at nothing to raise awareness about a disease that affects more than 300,000 American children.
