16-Year-Old Murder Suspect Appears In Superior Court
A 16 year old Yakima boy accused of gunning down a rival gang member makes his first court appearance in Yakima County Court this afternoon.
Daniel Perez is now facing charges of murder as an adult after a judge handed down the decision last week.
Perez is suspected of shooting and killing 26 year old Octavio Rangel last October at the Yakima Transit Center -- he was 15 at the time.
Perez will be arraigned in two weeks.
