Ki-Be school board places administrator on leave without pay
An administrator at the Kiona-Benton School District is placed on administrative leave without pay, after being suspected of stealing school district property and selling it on eBay.
Mark Noyes was placed on administrative leave last Monday.
Originally, he was placed on paid administrative leave, but on Friday, the school board voted 5 - 0 to place Noyes on administrative leave without pay - that decision went into effect today.
Benton County sheriff's deputies believe the administrator stole ten classroom temperature sensors, and sold them on eBay for a total of $500.
Deputies believe he also sold a film camera for $30.
Investigators are recommending he be charged with theft and trafficking stolen property.
