Sunnyside City Council selects finalists for City Manager

The Sunnyside City Council selects four finalists and one alternate for the office of City Manager.

Tonight, a community social will be held to allow citizens to get to meet the finalists who will be interview next week by the City Council.  Tonight's community social begins at 5:30 PM and will be held at Bon Vino's Bistro & Bakery, 122 N. 16th St. in Sunnyside.

The candidates are:

Donald Day, who has served the County of Colfax, New Mexico, as County Manager since 2007.

Steven Golnar, who was most recently City Manager for the City of Rawlins, Wyoming, serving four and a half years.

Ashton Harrison, who most recently served as County Administrator and Budget Officer for the County of Montezuma in Cortez, Colorado, serving eight years.

Arthur Sciorra, who is currently serving as an Executive Director for Clements Agriculture Research Institute in Lisbon, New York.  Prior to that, he served as City Manager for the City of Ogdensburg, New York.
