Richland Offers Customers New Bill Payment Option
In an effort to make utility bill paying easier, the City has launched a 24-hour automated phone payment option for its customers. The automated system is safe and secure and provides customers access to their account balance as well as applying payments immediately to their account. This process is streamlined for customers paying their regular bills as well as customers with delinquent accounts.
Customers can access the new phone payment system by calling 942-1104 and selecting option “2”. The customer will be prompted to enter their account information.
This new payment alternative is in addition to the other five options available to customers. Currently, customers can pay using their bank’s bill payer service, pay on-line, set up automatic payments from their checking account, mail their payment or pay in person.
