Richland police arrest man suspected of assault
Richland police officers arrest a 35 year-old man suspected of pulling a knife on his girlfriend.
Officers say the incident happened at a home on Saturday night around 9:14 PM.
Police arrived at the house after receiving a domestic violence call, but they say the suspect, Isidro Iniesta-Martinez, had already left.
While officers were searching for him, they were dispatched back to the house again.
Officers were advised that Iniesta-Martinez had a knife and screaming could be heard, then the line went dead.
Police say when they arrived back at the house, Iniesta-Martinez saw them and ran.
After a short foot pursuit, police arrested Iniesta-Martinez.
He was booked into the Benton County Jail on suspicion of second degree assault and resisting arrest.
