Union Gap Selects City Manager
The City of Union Gap is now with a permanent City Manager.
The city council selected Rodney Otterness as it's new city manager.
Otterness comes from Minnesota, where he was previously working for the past seven years.
Otterness beat out Pat Haley of Wenatchee -- the two were finalists out of a pool of 20 applicants.
Interim City Manager Chris Jensen says the city council will be in contract negotiations with Otterness, and expect to have him start by the first of April.
