Drug Trafficking Ring Shut Down
A drug trafficking ring that brought large amounts of methamphetamine and heroin to Washington State was shut down today.
Federal agents arrested more than a dozen suspects today -- including 5 in the Tri-Cities.
The criminal organization spanned a large area of Washington State.
Today along, 14 different locations and multiple vehicles were searched state wide.
Since the investigation began in September of last year, officers seized more than 56 pounds of heroin and 8 pounds of highly pure methamphetamine.
The grand jury has indicted these defendants from the Tri-Cities area:
Antonio Zuniga-Barajas, 29 of Kennewick, Washington
Javier Zuniga-Ochoa, 50, Kennewick, Washington
Enrique Orozco-Rojas, 37, Kennewick, Washington
Pedro Barragan-Valdovinos, 39, of Pasco, Washington
Omar Huerta-Garcia, 29, of Pasco, Washington
