TV Show Triggers Knife Incident
A 17-year-old Kennewick boy has been arrested after police say he allegedly threatened his mother and a friend with a knife.
The victim told officers that she and a friend were watching TV when her son became upset and armed himself with three knives and chased them out of the house located on the 300 block of East 9th Street about 10 o'clock last night.
No one was injured in the incident, however, the teenage boy had to be tazed after failing to obey officer's commands.
He's been booked into the Benton/Franklin Juvenile Detention Facility for 2nd degree assault, interfering with reporting a domestic violence, and resisting arrest.
It's not clear which TV show triggered the incident.
