Hermiston Students

More students in Hermiston are pursuing higher education after high school, according to a new study.

Baker Evaluation Research Consulting studied Hermiston High School graduates for the past five years (2008-2012), and found the amount of students enrolled in two or four year colleges has increased by 7%.

The amount of Hispanic students pursuing higher education shot up 16%.

The school district contracted the consulting company on its own - this is not part of a state-wide study.
