Americans Win Game Three in Overtime

The Tri-City Americans rallied Tuesday night for a 4-1 second period deficit for an improbable 5-4 overtime victory in game three of the teams' first round best of seven WHL playoff series. The Chiefs now lead the series two games to one.

After seeing the Chiefs score two shorthanded goals en route to that 4-1 second period lead, the Ams got goals from Marcus Messsier, Justin Feser, and Drydn Dow to ie the game after two periods.

After no one scored in the third, the teams played overtime for the 12th time in the last 24 playoff matchups between the two franchises. Parker Bowles scored the game winner on a rebound in front at the 10;46 mark to become the hero for the evening.

Game four is Thursday night in the Toyota Center with a start time of 7:05 PM
