A group of Kamiakin High School students are heading to Washington, D.C. next month to compete in a national design competition.
Last month, the school's Real World Design Team, made up of six students, won the Washington State Real World Design Governor's Challenge.
Today, the students received the Governor's trophy for the contest.
For the competition, the students had to design a search and rescue aircraft.
