Regional PFD to discuss aquatic center design tonight
Community leaders in the Tri-Cities plan to move forward with plans to potentially build a regional aquatics center in Pasco tonight.
The Tri-Cities Regional Public Facilities District is meeting at Richland City Hall at 5:45 PM.
PFD members plan to approve the final design concept and the estimated project costs and operating costs for the aquatic center tonight.
A sales tax would fund the project - but it needs to be approved by voters first.
If approved, the aquatic center will be built off Road 100, on Sandifur Parkway.
