New WSU Tri-Cities chancellor starts tomorrow
A former dean at California State University, Los Angeles will start his new job as the chancellor of Washington State University Tri-Cities tomorrow.
Dr. Keith Moo-Young was named the new chancellor in March.
He has a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, and a master's and Ph.D. in civil and environmental management.
When we spoke with him earlier this year when he was visiting the Richland campus, he told us one of his top priorities will be to increase student success through campus involvement.
Dr. Moo-Young will receive an annual salary of $300,000.
The community is invited to join WSU Tri-Cities in welcoming Dr. Keith Moo-Young as chancellor at a reception from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 6th.
