Jim Lemon Arrested on Domestic Violence Charge
Former Union Gap mayor Jim Lemon, who was arrested for suspicion of DUI last week, has been arrested again for allegedly attacking his parents at their Yakima home at about 10:00 PM last night.
Lemon, who was scheduled to appear in court this morning, did not do so because authorities tell us he was being uncooperative and behaving too aggressively. He is being held on $30,000 bail on charges of domestic violence, malicious mischief, trespassing, and obstructing officers. Prosecutors believe Lemon was under the influence of a substance during this incident, but do not as of yet know what.
