Kennewick Man Sentenced to Federal Prison for Child Pornography Distribution

A Kennewick man is sentenced today to twelve years in federal prison having previously pleaded guilty in July to distribution of child pornography.

21-year-old Brandon Wilder was sentenced today in federal court in Spokane.

According to court documents, the U.S. Secret Service conducted an online undercover investigation to identify those possessing and distributing child pornography on the Internet using file sharing software.  As a result, Secret Service agents executed a search warrant in April 2012 at Wilder's residence and located his computer, which contained more than 230 videos and more than 60 still images of child pornography.

Most of the children in the images were under the age of 12 years.
