Oregon Man Walking to Memoralize Son Killed by Truck in Colorado
An Oregon man walking across the country to raise awareness of bullying -- after his son took his own life because he was bullied -- has died after being struck yesterday by a truck in eastern Colorado.
48-year-old Joe Bell of La Grande was walking about 20 miles northwest of Kit Carson when he was struck just after 5 o'clock last night.
His son, 15-year-old Jadin Bell, killed himself earlier this year after being bullied at school.
Joe was on way across America to educate anyone who would listen about the lasting efforts of bullying.
