DOT Warning Travelers of Delays

A Travel Advisory From The DOT:

Drivers traveling Friday, Oct. 18 through Sunday, Oct. 20 should plan for delays due to single lane closures on Interstate 90 near Ellensburg or consider an alternate route using State Route 970 and US 97 or SR 10.

The Washington State Department of Transportation and contractor crews are repairing the bridge deck on the Dry Creek Bridge. In order to do this work, contractor crews need to restrict traffic to one lane across the bridge to remove and replace the deteriorated concrete. Although crews are working during the week and on Sunday nights, traffic cannot be diverted back onto the bridge deck until it’s finished in October.

Drivers planning a trip next week over Snoqualmie Pass will experience minor delays Monday, Oct. 21 through Friday, Oct. 25 due to single lane closures and rolling slowdowns. The pass will not close for rock blasting next week.
