Southridge HS Students Raise $8,200 for Tri-Cities Cancer Center
Students at Southridge High School show their support of breast cancer by forming a giant pink ribbon.
More than 1,500 students, including some cancer survivors, assembled on the school's field on Friday to celebrate raising $8,200 during Pink Week for the Tri-Cities Cancer Center.
The human ribbon is a tradition that started six years ago between all the Kennewick high schools.
Photographer Rich Breshears partnered with pilot Ryan Sellers, a former Southridge student, to take the photos of the giant ribbon.
