Yakima Girl is Finalist to Sing Anthem in Las Vegas
A local Yakima girl is asking for your help to give her the chance to sing the national anthem at the country's biggest rodeo competition.
16 year old Sophia Tilley is one of four finalists picked to perform the national anthem at the National Finals Rodeo anthem in Las Vegas.
Tilley has sung the anthem every year at the Ellensburg Rodeo since 2010, and says performing at the National Finals Rodeo would be a dream come true.
"Hopefully making it to Vegas will kind of give a little bit of recognition to Yakima and show that it's not just another small town and people do come out of Yakima," said Tilley.
Voting will close at the end of the month, to vote for Sophia, click here.
