Business leaders gather at TRAC for expo
Hundreds of people representing businesses across the Mid-Columbia and beyond gather at the TRAC in Pasco today to learn how they can grow their businesses and better serve you.
Many business leaders say events like this help them network with other businesses and create partnerships, so they can create better services for their customers.
Hundreds of people attended the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce's 2013 Business Expo at the TRAC.
In addition to meeting new people and marketing their products, business leaders also attended seminars throughout the day.
Some of those seminars focused on social media marketing strategies, trends in digital marketing, and how businesses can stay ahead of the curve as technology changes.
Many business leaders say they attend other networking events each year, but this one in Pasco gives them more ideas and opportunities for growth compared to others.
"Pasco is a really fun place to be. Everyone's always happy to be here. Everyone's ready to connect. So we always come away with some great ideas and great connections, and then we follow up with people and it just works really well for us" said Kerry Zimmer, CenturyLink marketing director.
Many business leaders say finding new ways to communicate with customers is key to putting them above their competition.
New this year at the expo - organizers held a business resource center, where new business professionals could learn about starting a business, growing a business and solving business problems.
