National Day of Remembrance
This year marks the 5th Anniversary of the National Day of Remembrance.
It's a day to honor the more than 700 thousand former nuclear weapons workers and uranium miners in the U.S. who served to keep their country free during the Cold War.
The Cold War Patriots is honoring this National Day of Rememberance by hosting an event a Howard Amon Park in Richland today.
Current and former Hanford workers are invited to celebrate and listen to a guest speaker from the Hanford History Partnership who worked at Hanford during the Manhattan project and Cold War.
