Indictment Released for CBC Bomb Threat Suspect
The U.S. federal government has released an indictment for the Columbia Basin College bomb threat suspect.
The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington is charging Steven Brown, of Kennewick, with willfully making a threat involving explosive materials.
According to the indictment, on July 18th, 2013, Brown used a telephone to "willfully make a threat and maliciously convey false information...concerning an attempt and alleged attempt to damage and destroy a building, vehicle, and other real and personal property by means of an explosive."
The indictment is signed by United States Attorney Michael Ormsby.
The indictment concludes with a warrant for the arrest of Brown.
