Judge decides Lukah Chang will be held without bail
A man accused of killing a teenager in Pendleton last year is being held without bail in the Umatilla County Jail.
Lukah Chang is charged with murder in the death of Amy Jane Brandhagen.
He is also charged with attempted murder in last month's brutal assault of Karen Lange.
This afternoon, prosecutors prepared to lay out their evidence against Chang during a bail hearing.
But before they did, Chang's attorney waived his right for a bail hearing - so the judge agreed to keep Chang in jail without the option to bail out.
Before today's hearing, Chang's bail was set at $10 million.
His next court date is scheduled for November 6th.
