Teens Join Kiwanis to Clean Up Pasco

Students from local high schools were hard at work today cleaning up downtown Pasco.

Members of the Pasco and Chiawana High school key clubs volunteered their time to assist the Kiwanis with "one day projects."

These are maintenace projects designed to spruce up the town, like painting, cleaning and landscaping.

About 50 teenagers offered their help.

They were treated to coffee from Dutch Brothers and used cleaning supplies provided by Basin Disposal Inc.

The project is spearheaded by the Downtown Pasco Development Authority.

Their goal is to have a community wide clean up project each month.
