Partners N Pals Horse Riding Day
The 20th annual Partners N Pals horseback riding day took palce in West Richalnd today.
Nearly 150 children and young adults participated.
Partners N Pals is an 8 week summer camp where campers do everything from swimming to bowling, but director Sue Pederson said horse day is always everyone's favorite day.
Mike Jennings has been in charge of putting on horse day for ten years now.
He said this day and these kids really puts life into perspective for him.
"They take all there disabilities at hand and they put them aside and they hoop and they hollar, and they take where they are and make the best of it" Jennings said. "It puts the rest of our life in perspective if they can be happy about that I don't have any problems in my world."
Participants also get to do face painting, hold bunnines and play various games.
Partners N Pals still has two weeks left of camp.
