Rascal Rodeo Gives Special Needs Kids Their Own Rodeo Today

Special needs kids have a rodeo of their own today.

The Rascal Rodeo is in full swing at Ranch and Home in Kennewick, giving people with special needs a chance to be a cowboy or cowgirl for the day.

Kids can practice milking cows, riding bulls, and brush up their roping skills.

This is the third Rascal Rodeo Traci Rugg's son has participated in.

She says it is great for him to get this rodeo experience and then see it in action at the Benton-Franklin rodeo.

"If we go out there tomorrow and he sees other cowboys walking around he'll understand what he did yesterday and how it relates," siad Rugg.

The next rascal rodeo is September 6th in Dayton.
