Murder Suspect's Confession Will Remain Admissible
A judge rules that a confession offered by a Richland murder suspect will remain admissible during his upcoming trial.
Lawrence Miller's defense arguing today that Miller had not been offered a chance for legal representation in a timely manner before talking to police.
However, the judge agreed with the prosecution's argument that Miller had been given that opportunity.
Miller is charged with second degree murder. He is accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend Rebecca Vandeventer to death in September of last year.
His trial was pushed back again today at the request of the defense--it was scheduled for September 8th and will now start on November 3rd.
