Police: Unattended Cars Getting Stolen

A note and a warning from the Pasco Police Department:

Pasco Police ask that people be aware of leaving their vehicles unlocked and running.    Numerous vehicles have been stolen over the past couple of weeks, throughout the Tri-Cities, while being left unattended.

Over the last two weeks Pasco Police have recovered five stolen of the stolen vehicles abandoned in West Pasco neighborhoods.

The vehicles have been recovered parked at the curb and are not being stripped.   Most of the vehicles were stolen locally while left running and unlocked during recent cold weather.
