Man suspected of burglary arrested outside Macy's last night

A 37-year-old man is arrested after police say he allegedly burglarized the Macy's at Columbia Center Mall last night.

Officers were dispatched to Macy's regarding multiple alarm trips just before 9 PM.  Officers found that there was forced entry into the store.  With assistance from the Richland Police Department and K9 assistance from Pasco Police, officers checked the inside of the store finding no one.  No one was found inside; however, when officers had arrived at Macy's to begin with, a male identified as Aaron Meola, was found near the building.

Macy's Loss Prevention provided video evidence showing this male having been in the building at one of the alarm trip locations.

Meola was arrested and taken to Benton County jail on investigation of burglary in the second degree.
