Trial for McCorkindale Pushed Back For a Second Time
The murder trial of a man accused of killing a Prosser man in June over a drug deal gone bad is pushed back for a second time.
Robert McCorkindale was scheduled to go to trial on February 10th, but today he requested his defense have more time to prepare for trial and waived his rights to a speedy trial.
A new trial date is set for May 27th.
McCorkindale is charged with first degree murder in the death of 22-year-old Preston Yahne.
According to court documents, McCorkindale admitted to investigators that he stabbed Yahne, ran over him with a car, then set the car on fire.
