Tomorrow is the 4th of July and for a lot of people that means they will be heading out of town for the weekend.

AAA is predicting 41 million Americans will travel for the 4th of July weekend.

Fourteen percent more than traveled over Memorial Day weekend.

Hurricane Arthur is expected to hit the east coast tomorrow which could have a big impact on flights.

Right now all flights in and out of the Pasco airport are on time, but anyone with plans to fly tomorrow should check with their airline to make sure that is still the case.

Many travelers are choosing to go by car instead of plane this weekend.

Right now gas prices in Washington and Oregon are about 22 cents higher than they were last year at this time.

AAA said about 80 percent of travelers will go by car, despite the highest gas prices for the holiday weekend since 2008.
