WSU Tuition Freeze?

The Washington State University Board of Regents will likely vote at the end of the week on whether or not to freeze tuition rates.

This will affect students both at the Pullman and WSU Tri-Cities campuses.

A representative for WSUTC says students work hard to pay for their education and not allowing the tuition to be raised again would be beneficial for them.

Tuition for the 2007-2008 school year was nearly $6,000.

This year it's more than $11,000.

The Board of Regents will meet tomorrow and Friday.

If a freeze is approved, this will be the second year in a row.
