Pasco Police Officer Facing Additional Criminal Charges
A Pasco Police officer already facing criminal charges following last summer's bomb threat at CBC is now being charged with patronizing a prostitute by the Franklin County Prosecutor.
Those charges were filed against Zach Fairley on April 28th.
Fairley is set to go to trial at the end of June for making false or misleading statements to a public servant.
Prosecutors claim he received text messages from the number that made the bomb threat at CBC hours before the threat was made and lied to officers when questioned about it.
Although he is still on paid adminsitrative leave from the Pasco PD, three weeks ago Fairley started working for the Red Cross' local blood collection division.
The Red Cross sent us this statement: “The American Red Cross Pacific Northwest Blood Services Region is conducting an internal investigation regarding a staff member’s employment. The employee has been put on paid administrative leave until the investigation is complete.”
