Former Pasco Police Officer Fired By The Red Cross
The American Red Cross fired a former Pasco police officer who recently accepted a job with the organization.
Zach Fairley is facing charges of making false or misleading statements to a public servant following last summer's bomb threat at CBC and other charges of soliciting a prostitute.
He was put on paid administrative leave by the Red Cross after they learned about these charges.
Today the Red Cross set us this statement about Fairley current position, "The American Red Cross does not comment on personnel matters; however, we can confirm that Mr. Fairley is no longer employed by the Red Cross."
Last week Fairley was also fired by the Pasco police department after he failed to tell them about his new position at the red cross while still on paid administrative leave with the police department.
Fairley is set to go to trial at the end of June.
