Yakima, WA (October, 4 2012) – Liberty Tax Service (NASDAQ:TAX) proudly announces the “Three Hands Fiesta”, a roadside event that will take place Saturday, October 6, 2012.

As part of their Hispanic initiative, Una Familia sin Fronteras in alliance with “La Casa Hogar”, YWCA (Young Women's Christian Association) and “Cell Phones for Soldiers”, a non-profit organization that collects phones to trade in for calling cards for the troops abroad, will raise funds and awareness at the event to benefit different educational programs that help many people in need.

On Saturday, October 6th, 2012 from 1 -4 pm at the Liberty Tax parking lot, 502 W. Nob Hill Blvd (next to Dress 4 Less), come help fill the trailer with coats, hats, gloves and cell phones!

Sponsored by Liberty Tax, stop by to listen and dance to the music of Munoz Sound Express while you visit the booths set up to provide information about becoming a citizen, domestic violence awareness, and registering for a number of free classes starting soon!

The US Army will be there with their Humvee, and Liberty Tax will have the Lady Liberty costumes for all those who have always had a secret desire to try one on and dance by the road!

La Casa Hogar invites you to visit their booth at the Liberty Tax “Three Hands” Fiesta, register for many free classes including those on citizenship (Citizenship Day is October 20th), computer training, leadership, GED preparation, parent education, English as a Second Language (ESL), and more. La Casa Hogar provides “a second home atmosphere” for Hispanic women and their families, where they cultivate empowerment to become active citizens in our community.

Bring in your used cell phones and help a soldier call home! Each phone collected will provide a calling card up to 100 minutes for a soldier to call home through Cell Phones for Soldiers. All Liberty Tax offices are year-round collection sites for this program.

Domestic Violence is a Crime – and It Can Happen to Anyone! In recognition of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, October 2012, the YWCA Yakima invites you to visit their booth at the Liberty Tax Service roadside fiesta on Saturday, October 6th to learn more about how you can make a difference in someone’s life. You can further show your support by donating new winter wear for women and children – the YWCA will be accepting donations of coats, hats, gloves, sweaters and boots during the event.

The United States Army will have a representative on hand to answer questions about serving in the Army. Stop and see the Humvee at the event!
