Carlo Scardovi:
Carlo Scardovi is a child of the arts as the son of Aldo scardovi, soloist and principal dancer at Teatro La Scala in Milan, Italy. In 1974, Carlo joined the ballet school at the Rome Opera Ballet Theater where he studied with Olga Amati and Vladimir Lupov. In just four years the director of the Theater, A. Prokovsky, cast him to dance his first solo role in The Sleeping Beauty. In 198a he won a scholarship to study at the Kirov in Leningrand and another for the Ater Ballet Company in Milan where he studied with Paolo Bartoluzzi. In 1980, Carlo entered the company under the direction of Vittorio Biagi.
Carlo returned to the Rome Opera Ballet Theater where hs has danced rolse as a principle dance in ballets such as Marco Spada, La Sylphide, Petruschka, Paquita, Coppelia and many more. He has been a guest perfromer and principal dancer with Rudolf Nureyev at the Teatro Petruzzelli di Bari and their production of Pierrot Lunaire.
Carlo’s rich career continues today as a master of ballet and choreographer in various dance schools through out Rome, Italy. His master class series at The Dance Center in summer of 2012 was an outstanding success.

Catia Brandoli:
Catia Brandoli earned a degree in Ballet Methodology from the Accademia Nazionale di Danza in Rome, Italy in 1986 and then began her professional career dancing with various Italian companies touring throughout Italy and Europe. Catia won a position in the dance company of the popular Italian television variety shows, Europa Europa and Fantastico 8 with Franco Miseria.
In 1989 Catia won a competition to enter the Roma Opera Ballet theater where she is currently working. Here she has performed as a soloist in many classical and contemporary ballet productions including Coppelia, Romeo and Juliet (Cranko), The Illusionist (L. Kemp), La Sylphlike (P. Shafuss) and along side international ballet stars such as Natalia Makarova, Carla Fracci, Roberto Bolle, Svetlana Zaharova and Alessandra Ferri.
