The Tri-Cities Soroptimist Against Trafficking Task Force is sponsoring a 5K Run/Walk to bring awareness to the issue of human trafficking.
Senator Sharon Brown and Benton County Commissioner Jerome Delvin have been invited to make opening remarks. Both have been proactive working through the legislature to make sure that Washington State has strong anti-trafficking laws in place.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 28, at the Columbia Point Marina Park, Shelter #1 (nearest the restrooms). Check-in starts at 7:30 a.m. and the race begins at 8:30 a.m.
Pre-registration (prior to September 15) is $10 per person which includes a t-shirt. Registration after the 15th and day of race is $15. Children under 15 free. Registration form and flyer are available to download at www.3tcsat.blogspot.com. Questions? Email: email@example.com
