At Mid-Columbia Libraries, we are always trying to achieve our mission of providing excellence in books and services to our communities. We are updating our look this year, and we would like Mid-Columbians to be part of the Bookmobile’s makeover. Through this contest, we hope to discover our local talent in art and design.

The search runs until June 30, 2014.
The winner will receive a new Kindle Fire HD. In addition, your artwork will be seen on the Bookmobile and inspire our communities for years to come.
How to Enter
1. Visit www.midcolumbialibraries.org/bookmobiledesign to download the Bookmobile Design Competition packet, which includes the Design Template and Parameters for Entry.
2. Fill out the entry application form and submit your entry to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you submit a physical piece, please create your design on an 11”x16” surface. Hand-deliver to an MCL branch, or mail to: MCL Communications Department 405 S. Dayton St. Kennewick, WA 99336.
3. The winner will be contacted by in early July and publicly announced on July 9.
This promotion is open to all Mid-Columbia Libraries’ customers. To sign up for a library card, visit www.midcolumbialibraries.com. Employees of MCL and their immediate families and household members are not eligible to enter or win.
Terms and Conditions
By participating, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by the Official Rules and any and all decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all respects. The winner may be required to provide evidence that he or she is eligible to win and complete an affidavit of eligibility and any applicable releases. The winner’s entry and acceptance of the prize offered constitutes permission for Mid-Columbia Libraries to use the winner’s name, art, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice, and city of residence, for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Mid-Columbia Libraries reserves the right to edit and/or modify the winning submission per Mid-Columbia Libraries’ mission and brand guidelines. In the unlikely event that not one design entered is up to Mid-Columbia Libraries’ judges’ standards, Mid-Columbia Libraries reserves the right to negate any winner.
