Q. What insurance plans are accepted

A. If we are not a provider for your insurance, we will work with you to ensure you get the most from your benefit plan. We will also help bill your insurance. Here is a partial list of insurance providers: Premera Blue Cross / Blue Shield, Medicare, Medicaid (Medical coupons / DSHS), Group Health Options, L & I, First Choice Health, and more. If your insurance is not listed, please call us - we will check coverage for you.

Q. I am interested in Laser Vision Correction, what are my options?

A. If you are interested in correcting your vision with the most advanced technology, we will help you to understand all of the advantages and disadvantages of the currently accepted procedures. If Dr. Karl Czirr feels you are a good candidate for laser vision correction he will refer you to an excellent surgeon and arrange for your follow-up care right here in our office.

Q. How often should I get an eye exam?

A. Regular eye exams are important for you and your whole family. We recommend an eye exam once yearly. Because vision problems can have a quick onset if you notice any change in sight get it checked immediately. Get checked yearly for the health of your eyes.

We know it is important to be thorough, that’s why we offer a comprehensive eye examination that will uncover any eye problems you might have. Our Neurological screenings evaluate the way your eyes work together and individually can tell us if the nerves and the muscles controlling your eyes are working properly or require more investigation.

Eye health testing takes up most of the examination. A specialized microscope is used, the pupils are often dilated and the inside of the eye is viewed. Dr. Czirr then can detect early signs of glaucoma, cataracts, hypertension, and even diabetes. Detailed photographs are taken to keep track of your eye health as the years progress.

All patients, parents or guardians can be provided with an explanation of the findings. Any treatment or follow-up will then be discussed. All your questions will be answered and any solutions reviewed.
