About Prosser Memorial Hospital

Prosser Memorial Hospital is a full-service, community based, non-profit medical center, dedicated to serving the needs of local residents. Prosser Memorial Hospital is a Level IV Trauma Center with 62 licensed beds. For nearly 60 years, Prosser Memorial Hospital has provided exceptional healthcare services and the latest in diagnostic and patient care technology to the residents of the Lower Yakima River Valley.

Over the last year, we served over 1100 inpatients and performed over 45,000 outpatient visits, up 20% from the previous year. In our industry, hospitals and long-term care facilities are regulated by both State and Federal laws. To ensure compliance of these laws, healthcare organizations undergo survey processes annually to evaluate how well they adhere to these strict regulations. We are excited to say that on the WA State Department of Health survey, we received zero deficiencies; on the WA State Fire Marshall survey, we received zero deficiencies; on the WA State Social & Health Services survey, we received one deficiency. These incredible results are directly related to the hard work and dedication of our team of professionals. We are very proud of all our team members.

At Prosser Memorial Hospital, patients come first, we are continually polling our patients to insure customer satisfaction.  With the help of Professional Research Consultants (PRC), a national healthcare survey organization, Prosser Memorial Hospital is able to hear from patients on the quality and services offered.  PRC uses the data to compare and rank 350+ hospitals in their nationwide system.  Prosser Memorial Hospital, has been recognized nationally by PRC, and the patients we serve, with the PMH Emergency Department receiving 4-Star Awards for the past 4 years and the Inpatient services receiving a 5-Star Award for Overall Quality of Care in 2006.  While national recognition is appreciated, the recognition of the patients served by Prosser Memorial Hospital is the real motivator.

With an active network of over 40 physicians and associated health professionals, coupled with state-of-the-art medical technology and facilities, PMH is pleased to provide a broad spectrum of healthcare services:
