PASCO -- A Kennewick detective and FBI agent spotted Oscar Garcia Jr. Yesterday afternoon in a red Ford Mustang at 7th and Lewis Street in Pasco. He then was found driving wrecklessly at 7th and Bonneville. They pursued him, but stopped because traffic was too heavy.
An hour later, police spotted Garcia next to his car at 5th Avenue. He took off on foot and entered a house on the 700 block of Jay Street, barricading himself in the back bedroom.
"We were able to surround the house, secure it and after a short standoff, we talked him into come out and he gave himself up without incident," Pasco Police Sgt. Ben Majetich said.
Garcia was wanted on a number of warrants, including unlawful possession of a firearm and eluding police.
