A Kennewick business will soon make sure astronauts are healthy when they head into space.
HPM Corporation signed a 5-year, 24-million dollar deal with NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville Alabama.
The woman owned small business will be offering occupational medicine to all NASA employees.
HPM President Hollie Mooers says the Marshall contract reinforces their commitment to quality health care to federal clients. She says, "It's a great testament to the quality of work that we do. We got started in Kennewick as a small business enterprise in down town and have just started to grow since we got started and it's a very big deal."
The medical facility in Alabama will start seeing patients on November 3rd.
