SEATTLE -- Get ready to see some of that white stuff in the mountains of Washington state.

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm watch Sunday for the Olympic Mountains and the Cascades. A cold front is expected to bring heavy snow to the mountains Monday and Tuesday.

Forecasters say 4 to 12 inches of snow could fall. Snow levels will drop to 4,000 feet across the Olympics and North Cascades by midday Monday and to 3,000 feet Monday night with snow possible at Snoqualmie Pass.
