RICHLAND -- Local actors take to the stage tonight in a free showing of the musical Godspell.
Producer Sue Shick said the show is meant to give people something free to do, and to expose people in the Tri-Cities to theatre that otherwise wouldn't be.
With the show opening in just a few hours, here's what some of the performers have to say about it.
"I love that its an ensemble show, we are all on stage the entire time, I mean, there is a star but everyone else just gets to share the spot light and its great" said Lauren Smith.
"It's a different type of art and it speaks to people at a different way and i'm excited that this has an opportunity to open that up to other people" said Ted Miller.
The cast of about 15, plus musicians and crew, have been rehearsing since June.
The show runs this weekend and next, with shows Friday and Saturday at 7:30 PM, and Sundays at 3 PM, and all shows are free.
Doors open half an hour before show time at Bethel Church in Richland.
